Before working at Heights your Employer should do a Risk Assessment to see if the work can be done Safely on the ground, if not then you will need to follow Working at Height Regulations 2005.

The Employer should make sure that they have competent staff working on access equipment and that they follow the Company Health and Safety Policy, plus any Toolbox Talk.

Employees have general Legal Duties to take reasonable care of themselves and others who may be affected by their actions, and to Co-operate with their Employer to enable their Health and Safety Duties and requirements to be complied with.
