Fire Prevention and Control

Fire Prevention & Control

Fires are preventable by following the correct methods and procedures.

Employers have a duty to ensure there is sufficient fire-fighting equipment and people trained as fire marshals, and all employees know what to do in a case of an emergency.

There should be a record kept of all Fire Equipment inspections and Fire Drills.

The workplace should have the appropriate Fire-Fighting Equipment Signs and Exit Signs in place.
