Organic Layer

Parents Material
The parent material is also known as the C Horizon, this layer consists of large rocks, and there is no organic matter or plants in this layer.
Bedrock
Bedrock is also known as the R Horizon, this is the deepest layer that contains nothing but hard, solid rock in it.
